Garbage Can Covers
Many years ago, Brymstonne had an entrance gate, complete with a faux drawbridge and portcullis, that we used as ambience at the entrance of our events - until one very windy day, when a merchant's carport tent burst free of its inadequate stakedown and barreled its way through our gate and destroyed it! We picked through the rubble and salvaged those pieces we thought might be repurposed somehow.
A couple of years later, at a weekly meeting discussing possible projects for that year's Chocolate Revel, it was decided that we would figure out a way to reuse the pieces of the old entrance gate. As Brymstonne normally will, we discussed things that could be disguised in order to lessen any detraction from the ambience Brymstonne strives for. Several people brought up the way garbage cans look at events, and so these garbage can covers were designed.
