College of Brymstonne Events

Kingdom Calendar Events

The College of Brymstonne hosts two events in the Kingdom of Atenveldt every year.

Bacchanal (Spring Event)

Every spring (usually April), the College invites one and all to don their togas, find their fibulas, tie-on their chitons and join us for a day of revelry, fighting, games and general silliness!

Chocolate Revel (Autumn Event)

Brymstonne hosts the Chocolate Revel in the fall (usually September), which is a merry gathering full of desserts, music, dancing and games.

Weekly Meetings

The College of Brymstonne meets every Tuesday for a general meeting, generally at the Pyle Adult Recreation Center, on the south-west corner of Rural and Southern in Tempe. Meeting times are generally from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. These meetings are casual occasions; anyone can participate in these meetings, and is free to leave when they need or choose.

The weekly meetings can also be held at the Sewing Room (south of Southern and McClintock), or at Master Phillipos the Skeptic's workshop (near Southern and Dobson). Check the Calendar to see where the next meeting will be held. For further information and directions, please contact Lady Selina.

Sewing Room

The first Tuesday meeting of every month is held at the Sewing Room. The Sewing Room is open to all, regardless of your sewing experience (or lack thereof). If you are new to sewing, there will be people there that can help teach you. If you are a more experienced seamster/seamstress, this is a great place to bounce ideas off of others, ask for help on those complicated hems, etc. Unless a specific project has been announced to be worked on for a particular meeting, Sewing Rooms are open: You are welcome to bring a personal project you are working on, or help with a group project if one is in progress; or you are welcome to just come and hang out and chat with people.

The Master's Workshop

Master Phillipos the Skeptic frequently holds open workshops. These are open for research and production assistance on a variety of projects in the medieval arts and sciences. Contact Master Phil or Lady Selina for more information on projects.

Other Events

Archery Practices: Brymstonne has a target archery group. At this time practices are held as schedules permit. Please check the Calendar, or contact Master Phillipos the Skeptic or Lady Selina if you are interested in joining us. Experience is not required, nor is equipment. Brymstonne does have some loaner gear available for use at practices.
