Chocolate Revel Approaches!

Once again the Explorers of the College of Brymstonne have braved the wilds of the New World to bring back that wondrous delicacy: CHOCOLATE!!! Due to our continued and deepening friendship with the small and extremely secretive tribe of Oompahs, you will be able to experience chocolate of a kind that no others across Europe have yet been able to produce. The Oompahs are the only ones to have uncovered the secret of sweetening the cocoa bean. This year they have also honored us with magical portable fountains of Youth in which to dunk many delicacies for all to partake in!

Chocolate Revel will once again be held at the Fountain Hills Community Center. This site has plenty of room for dancing, games, and seating for all! Please join us on Saturday September 19th from 1pm to 9pm to enjoy the scrumptious treats and great fun!

Bring On the Bards!

What would a revel be without story and song! This year will also see the return of the Bardic Garden. Last year’s performances were amazing and the College invites all Bards, both new and experienced, to please so honor us again.

Each guest will receive tokens to bestow upon their favorite Bards to ensure that the Sweetest Bard of the Revel is found. The tokens will be tallied towards the end of the evening and a prize shall be given to the one that has the most. The tokens will be tallied to determine the winner and the prize (worth its weight in treasure) shall be given to the Bard with the most tokens. Calling All Cooks!

We hereby challenge all cooks in this Great Kingdom to try your hand at some friendly competition. The challenge is quite simple; bring your finest chocolate desert, non-chocolate desert, or best edible display to be judged by the populace. Awards will be given in each of the three categories. All guests that bring an item(s) will receive a $1 discount per person!

For Those Budding Cooks - Youth Cooking Competition

There will also be a competition for those younger cooks (under 12) that are just starting to learn the culinary joys. If you are willing to take up this quest, please concoct your best desert dish (with the assistance of a willing adult) to the Chocolate Revel and you might be our hero! All guests that bring an item(s) will receive a $1 discount per person!

Noodle Jousting Returns!

Every once in a while the musicians will need a breather. (And a chance to fill up on chocolate themselves!) But fear not - the fun will still go on! The Brymstonne Stables will be available for those brave enough to take on the challenge of noodle jousting! What is that you ask? Join us and find out! For those brave souls who would dare to take others on, please check in with the Herald when you arrive on site so you may be added to the tournament rolls. There will be a prize given for the bravest Adult and Youth with a bonus prize given to the “Best Death”.

Don't Forget the Dancing!

And of course, no Brymstonne Chocolate Revel would be complete without DANCING!! And lots of it! Once again we will have live musicians to inspire all those dancing shoes and merry jigs! Please don’t let lack of knowledge keep you from joining in. There will be a Dance Mistress to explain the steps and encourage you along the way.

Fabulous Food!

As wonderful as chocolate is, it is necessary to add a bit of substance to the fare. Once again, the renowned cooks of Brymstonne will be offering tidbits to tempt the tongue. There will be a buffet served throughout the event to help temper the sugar buzz, so be sure to bring your feast gear. The buffet table will be continuously resupplied from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, so please don’t fear for a lack of nourishment.
